HIGHLIGHTS:
- Visual mineralization estimates, supported by pXRF analysis, have defined a promising intersection of vein, cleavage and fracture-hosted chalcocite mineralization in drill hole NCP68 at 400 meters along the strike of NCP55, containing 10.0m @ 1.32% Cu and 27.7 g/t Ag (see ASX announcement dated 3 February 2025).1);
- The results encourage a laterally extensive (>400 m) higher-grade copper-silver zone at Cosmos; And
- Based on these encouraging preliminary results, two more infill diamond drill holes, located either side of NCP55, have been added to the drill program.
The extensive drilling program will confirm the continuity of high-grade copper and silver mineralization at the Cosmos Target. The higher figures at Cosmos could provide opportunities for both In-Situ Copper Recovery (ISCR) and conventional underground mining.
Commenting on the initial results of the Cosmos Target Drill Program, Adam Wooldridge, Chief Executive Officer of Cobre, said:
