-Land Rover Voorste Suspension Knuckle problems have caused a recall of more than 121,500 model year 2014-2017 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles.
Land Rover says that this recall is an extension and replacement of a recall of November 2024 for the same issues.
The recalled Range Rover 2014-2017 and Range Rover Sport vehicles are equipped with upper suspension upper knuckle connections that can burst and ensure that the suspension arms release themselves.
The recall includes certain 2014 model 19Ptors and all Range Rover Sports 2015-2017 built from October 1, 2014 to November 10, 2017.
Transport Canada contacted Land Rover after an earlier recall from Range Rovers. The Canadian supervisors said that the same knuckle problem for the front suspension took place at Range Rover Sport vehicles.
While the discussions with Transport Canada continued, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Land Rover discussed the problem with regard to American customers. Land Rover has received 96 claims and field reports about Range Rover vehicles in the US and 14 claims and field reports for Range Rover Sports.
However, there have been no reports of crashes or injuries.
Land Rover expects on the front suspension Knuckle Recall Letters on or before September 30, 2025. The technician will inspect both front suspension bows to seek cracks. A Kentoverbeste is mounted on the joint if no cracks are found. The knuckles for for -hangers are replaced if cracks are observed.
Land Rover owners can contact Land Rover on 800-637-6837, but the automaker uses four suspension cover numbers: D019, N759, D041 and D027.
