Several sources that cover the Los Angeles Kings share news about a press release from the team and say that the Los Angeles Kings will make a “big announcement” tomorrow at 3.30 pm.
The kings sent their fan base in overdrive and created a rowing of online speculation, ranging from the plausible to the downright absurd.
Within a few minutes after the plague, Kings fans – and many rival fans – X (formerly Twitter) flooded with theories about what the organization could plan.

Some guesses skewed skewed at the reasonable, such as a New Jersey discharge or an update about Franchise Piccogram Anze Kopitar, many of which suspect they could enter his last season. “Kopitar’s announcement last year,” wrote one user, with a different addition: “Every chance that this is about who the ‘C’ will get if this is Kopi’s Swan number?”
Others pushed things much further. “McDavid traded to paint eh?” A Kings fan joked while another fan trolled the organization and burst: “Quinton Byfield traded to the oilers for Mattias Janmark.”
More dramatic (and tongue-in-cheek) predictions followed. “Moving the team to Phoenix,” a fan joked. Another suggested that the kings could be sold downright.
Some fans tied the pest of potential grid movements. “Corey Perry update?” one asked. Another simply wrote: “Carter Hart locked up?”
Others went nostalgic and wishing broadcasts instead of player trade. “They have changed thoughts and go back to the great simulcasts?
And of course, there were the off-the-wall that defines it moments like these online. “LMFAO Kempe to Mammoet Trade,” Joked one fan, while the other claimed, “Someone will retire.”
Tomorrow fans will find out what the kings have in store. The organization has opened it for fans to participate as long as it is by e -mail RSVP’d. They will also stream the announcement live.
