In 2025, Keller Williams announced a flagship relationship with Canva. The decision to deliver a best-in-class, AI-powered design platform, including agent branding and seamless listing data integration, gives KW® agents a tremendous competitive advantage. By continually creating exclusive new features with the Canva team, KW demonstrates its commitment to innovation and empowers agents to grow their businesses through world-class technology.
The simple button for real estate marketing
In June 2025, Keller Williams announced it had established a flagship relationship with Canva, the all-in-one visual communications platform. The decision to offer enterprise-level Canva access to KW® employees came as a welcome announcement and followed an in-depth assessment of agent needs, currently available solutions, and the potential for platform adaptation and innovation over time.
Chief Technology and Digital Officer Chris Cox and KW LABS Executive Director David Voorhees were instrumental in finding the right design partner and bringing Canva on board.
Tooltip: Magic eraser
With Magic Eraser you can make your real estate flyers more visually appealing in minutes. The tool can be a great time saver in removing unwanted objects from photos, such as cars and signage, with just one click; no advanced editing skills required.
“We wake up every day and think about how we can provide agents with the best tools, resources and training to make their jobs easier and give them back the two most important things anyone can ask for: time and money,” says David.
Because a broker’s resources must be spent on providing value to their clients and building their business, David says it was paramount to find a design solution that would make creating professional-looking marketing materials simple and efficient, even for a new user.
Canva’s creative ecosystem includes drag-and-drop design tools and templates, brand kits, video and photo editing capabilities, and AI features that let users generate text and quickly create presentations, social posts, documents, and other visual content – no design experience required.*
“This is the easy button that allows a real estate agent to look like a marketing professional without having to be one,” says David.
But the choice to form a relationship went beyond Canva’s world-class design technology, he explains; KW and Canva share important company values. “Both our companies are deeply rooted in education and our corporate cultures are similar.” That insight laid the foundation for continued collaboration and innovation, including solutions uniquely developed for KW.
Widespread adoption of Canva within KW
Encouraging the adoption of new technology is often an uphill battle. But when it came to introducing Canva to the KW community, David said the platform was welcomed with open arms. “From an adoption and usage perspective, we are running much faster than the rest of our industry,” he says.
Tooltip: Magic Edit
Instead of physically visiting a property to stage it for new photos, you can use Magic Edit to virtually add furniture, remove objects or even turn a cloudy sky into a sunny one.
After just 90 days, KW had more than 50,000 active Canva users who had collectively published almost half a million designs. That’s a clear testament to Canva’s ease of use and ease of integration into agents’ daily workflows.
Jackie Hill, head of Canva Marketing AI, says Canva’s power for real estate agents lies in being able to build an end-to-end marketing workflow within one platform and producing professional-quality assets. at speed.
Canva’s Brand Kit feature, a centralized library for logos, color palettes, fonts, graphics, and images, is at the heart of that functionality. “KW has done a great job creating a Brand Kit that is world-class,” allowing users to produce branded content from the start. “You don’t have to be a design professional to create assets that feel like they were created by a marketing agency.”
“If you tried to do this on your own, it would take a lot longer,” says Canva B2B Communications Lead Ali Rae Hunt. She says the time you save on design “frees up your time for everything else you need to do during the day,” like generating leads, negotiating transactions, and interacting with customers on a personal level.
But when you’re on the road, Jackie says it’s easy to produce assets on the go. “Our mobile experience is exactly the same as our desktop experience,” she says. That’s a big advantage for a profession that requires more time outside the office than inside it.
Seamless marketing workflows for KW® agents
The collaboration between KW and Canva on the backend of the platform is clearly reflected in the differences between the out-of-the-box version of Canva and the version that KW® agents have access to. Core features include KW Command® connectivity, a KW Brand Kit, and direct integration with an agent’s listing data already available in KW Command. And agents don’t have to pay for or manage a separate subscription; Enterprise access to Canva is automatically included in the technology cost of a Market Center.
Tooltip: Magic video
Agents embracing video will be well served by Canva’s new video editing tool. The faster, more intuitive video editor lets you edit high-quality videos so you can use them on social platforms and use the tool to find and merge the best moments of your video, saving you time and making your videos more engaging.
KW Command® connectivity makes it easy for agents to place their logos, headshots and contact information directly into their Canva profile, along with listing information. Regarding listing data integration, David says, “All of an agent’s images, graphics and information available in KW Command can be imported into Canva so the agent doesn’t have to upload them separately.”
“Being able to connect real estate data that an agent already has available in KW Command to an agent’s Canva design is an incredible benefit,” says Jackie.
Canva’s AI tools, such as Magic Eraser and Magic Write, can then be used to enhance visuals and list copy, and easily adapt content for different applications. Users can easily generate new written content for print, web or social media, and resize images and videos to work across platforms. Jackie says AI is built into the experience as standard, and many AI features are “one-click” tools.
KW® agents also take advantage of features like the QR Code Generator and Canva’s seamless digital-to-print workflows, built right into the platform.
KW x Canva: continuous collaboration and innovation
Once a user feels comfortable in Canva, the next step is learning to take advantage of more advanced design and content features.
Tooltip: Improve the voice
Capturing clear sound can be difficult. Canva Enhance Voice can improve spoken audio clarity in your recordings, so your commentary is clear and easy to understand.
Jackie recognizes that while it is easy to get started with Canva, some users may feel intimidated by the wide range of tools available and the rapid pace of change in the digital domain. When it comes to learning advanced tools, she advises, “Give yourself some grace as you try to learn.” Focus first on the tools that can help you most, and expand your skills over time.
Super users will be happy to know that exclusive new features for KW® agents are already being worked on behind the scenes. That collaborative innovation is one of David’s favorite things about working with the Canva team. “There is a commitment on both sides to co-create new experiences for KW® agents within Canva that don’t exist today.” It’s a win-win situation for both companies.
By treating Canva not as a standalone product, but as a strategic extension of its platform, Keller Williams is strengthening its role as a technology leader and delivering innovation that translates directly to agent productivity, brand power and long-term business growth.
