KSW 114 Fallout
Parnasse for the UFC – Get it done
In the main event of KSW 114, Salahdine Parnasse met Bellator and UFC veteran Marcin Held with the lightweight gold on the line. Heading into the fight, the challenger, Held, like the French champion, was enjoying a three-fight undefeated streak. The fight was rebooked after the two were scheduled to take place in May 2025, but that fight was canceled after Held had to withdraw.
The bookmakers got this right as Parnasse Held finished in the second round to retain his lightweight title, remain undefeated at the weight and have the eyes of the MMA world firmly on him.
With an impressive record of 22-2, with his only losses coming at featherweight and welterweight, the Frenchman is an asset the UFC needs to sign quickly. During his 22 wins, Parnasse has seven KO/TKOs and seven submissions to his name, which shows just how good he is. At the age of 28, he is a two-weight world champion (featherweight and lightweight). It’s time for the UFC to sign him, put him on the annual Paris card in September and bring Parnasse to the big leagues.
Inspired by Joanna, who forges her own path
The other standout performer at KSW 114 was Wikitoria Czyzewska. At just 21 years old, the Polish star moved to 7-1 and extended her winning streak to five consecutive matches. After winning 2-0 in 2025 and going the distance both times, The Queen of Radom was back to winning ways at KSW 114.
Take on UFC veteran Tamires Vidal, Czyzewska beat her Brazilian opponent to a stoppage in the first round. With a sickening body kick, Czyzewska folded her opponent and grabbed the headlines.
🥶 Absolutely brutal. 21-year-old 🇵🇱 Wiktoria Czyżewska just stopped UFC veteran Tamires Vidal with a devastating body kick to #KSW114 earlier today.
Czyżewska competes at 125 and 135 lbs and is now 7-1 as a professional, with a 5-fight win streak. Inspired by UFC Hall of Famer Joanna… pic.twitter.com/3Z4spx3wmB

Competing at both flyweight and bantamweight, Czyzewska has ambitions to become a big star and her finishing ability, infectious personality and drive could lead her there.
The UFC has to make the call. There is only one European star in the flyweight top 15 and there are two at bantamweight. It’s time to sign a new one.
