For the Malaysian adventure market, the 2025 Kove 800X GT is priced at RM48,888 excluding road tax, registration and insurance. The first 20 customers of the 800x GT will receive a set of luggage, consisting of a top case and two panniers, free of charge, courtesy of distributor MDUA Motor, a subsidiary of Afy Mobility Industries (AMI).
Currently, the 800x GT will be imported into Malaysia as a CBU model, with future models planned for local assembly. This also includes readily available spare parts, after-sales service and warranty in line with Kove’s global standards.
Power for the 800x GT comes from a parallel-twin mill with liquid cooling, DOHC and eight valves, and fed by EFI, displacing 799 cc. Producing 97bhp at 9,000rpm with 80Nm of torque at 7,500rpm, the 800x GT sends power to the rear wheel via a QuickShifter and features a six-speed, six-speed gearbox and chain spacing, while maximum speed is a claimed 180km/h.
Suspension is done by KYB, with a 49mm diameter upside-down fork with steering damper, adjustable for preload, while the rear monoshock is adjustable for preload and comes with an external gas reservoir. Braking uses dual hydraulic discs at the front wheel with radial-mounted four-piston opposed calipers with a single disc and single-piston slipper at the rear, while dual-channel ABS is standard equipment.
Wheel size for the 800x GT is 19-inches in the front and 17-inches in the rear. Shod with CST tires, the 800x GT wears 110/80 front and 150/70 rear rubber.
Electronics include riding modes—ECO, rain, sport and off-road—and traction control, as well as heated seat and handlebar grips, along with Type-A and Type-C USB charging ports. Weight for the 800x GT is claimed to be 195kg, with 22-litres of fuel in the tank, while seat height is set at 826mm.
