Kody Massey added five driving wins to his total on Wednesday (September 10) in Northville Downs in Barry Expo Center in Hastings, Michigan. This brought his season a total of 25, because he currently recommends the racing racing driver, who led his next rival, David Lake, who has 12 victories at the meeting.
Massey started winning the afternoon with Word to the Wise (Lost for words – Platinum Spirit) in Race Four for owner Lases Racing and trainer Paul Cloer, Jr. The duo put the clock in 1: 58.4 winning by just one head over Anne Bonney N (Net Ten Eom – Galleons Rewards) and pilot David Lake.
In race six, Rosas Show G (Best In Show – Goddess’s Rosa), with Kody in tow, the pocket rocket winner with a long and half a margin about Bunkerhill Lil (Vlos – River Bend Raider). The pair stopped the clock in 2: 01.3. Rosas Show G is owned by and trained by Paul Cloer, Jr.
Kody’s third victory The afternoon came in race seven with royalty girl (Opportunities on Carpis – Opportunities for volatility) for owner/trainer Jim Ingersoll. Royalty Girl took the lead on giving and just passed the neighborhood and never gave it up, won with half a length of artistic cat (Tellitlikeitis-cost-Kostbaar Gracie). Lately of the race, 1: 59.2, has set a new track record for a three -year Pacing Merrieveeulen in The Hastings, Mi Oval.
In Race 11, Meadowbrook Lady (JK Endofanera – Lady Lakers) brought Kody Home win number four in the day, again a Pocket Rocket winner. Meadowbrook Lady, who is owned by and is trained by Samuel Eicher, won by two and a quarter lengths in 1: 56.4, which was equal to the track record for an outdated pacing mare set by Avalon Freeze (Bettor’s Delighty) on 27 August 2025.
And finally, in Race 12, Massey won for the second consecutive week on board the Jim Eaton -Stagiair bet mine (gambling line – pleasant and yet bad), who made three victories in a row. Bet Mine established the track record of all time and the record for an outdated Pacing Horse the week before in 1:56. This week he put the timer in 1: 56.1, only a fifth of a second of the earlier record of the week. We bet mine won the second week in a row on Wire-to-Wire Mode. He is owned by Robert Silberberg.
To date, Kody Massey has 1,826 row victories and has collected $ 8,071,926 on driving in the wallet. In total on the Wednesday program, Massey had five row victories while David Lake had three. Trainer Paul Cloer, JR had added two wins to his count to go to first place with Lewayne Miller for the leading trainer so far.
While Lake might have Massey sustained with 13 victories in the driver’s rankings, he still had a big impact of his own impact on Wednesday. He was the same as the outdated trotting track record in race two with Rose Run Vincent (and we are going – Real Housewife) won in a time of 1:59. The record was established on 2 September 2025 by Peter de Con (Uncle Peter – Jesse’s Con) and driver Ed Hennessey. In Race 9, David Lake established a new track record for a four-year-old Pacing-Ruin in 1: 56.2 by winning with Noble Dale (the Panderosa-Noble Trixie) for owner/trainer Jocelyn Bates. That record was previously established on the map in Race Five by Mr. Pnut (Manhardt – Marmaria) for owner Staci Malady and trainer/driver Art Mcilmurray in 1:57.
