East Devonport Harness Racing -trainer Kasey Kent landed her first Tasmanian training victory then Miss Collann ($ 3.90) de Bevan read Butchery Pace (2200m) in Launceston on Sunday evening.

“The death of Dad left an irreplaceable hole in my heart, and coming home was something I thought I had to do.
“Dad has always taught me that it was natural to sometimes feel down, but there is no other choice but to get up and get started, and that is something that I take with me for the rest of my life,” Kasey said.
Kasey trained 15 winners during her Victorian adventure, while her sister Bronte has changed from Code and trained her first winner as a thoroughbred trainer in North Queensland in mid -December.
Kasey will prepare a small number now that she is back in Tasmania, where she uses the ownership of the Maxfield family, which has Miss Collann.
“Working with her is something I can do to try to make him proud, and the support of Mick and Anne (Maxfield) gave me something to concentrate on.
“I work full time at Physiotas, so people are enough for me at the moment.”
