Some kids want to be firefighters…
or cowboys when they grow up. Not me! I always wanted to be a real estate agent! I remember it like it was yesterday, my parents were looking for an investment property and we went to view houses on the weekends. Our real estate agent took us from house to house and I was fascinated by the different styles, layouts and designs. Even at that young age I remember thinking, _”This guy is so cool! He shows us the houses and helps us find the right one, I want to do that someday!” Since I got my license in 2019, it has been a great honor to be able to do that guide many people on their real estate journey. Helping my fellow humans find a sanctuary to rest their heads, a nest to raise their families, or a home base to achieve their life goals, and everything in between, brings me deep joy and pride. There is nothing I would rather do than be a residential real estate agent in Portland, Oregon. During my time as a real estate agent, I have successfully weathered many challenging market conditions, such as the crazy pandemic years when ten offers on one house were common. That was immediately followed by runaway inflation and rising interest rates, which required writing strategic and creative offers. I have won multiple sales/production awards, as well as certifications related to fair housing practices, diversity and inclusion, preparing your home market, buying and selling in challenging market conditions, and many other topics. More importantly, under the close guidance of mentors with over a decade of experience in the Portland market, I have developed deep expertise in how to navigate the ever-changing market conditions, ensuring top sales for my sell-side clients and writing competitive offers for my buy-side clients. That said, my absolute favorite part of it all is the lifelong friendships I’ve built with my client friends! For me, real estate is about continuing relationships that extend far beyond the transaction.
Outside of work
I enjoy spending time with my young family, good friends and a wider community. I live in Mill Park; and I love reaching out to local businesses and the East Portland Community Center, taking advantage of the strong sense of community that this part of Southeast Portland has to offer. I have been consistently preparing home baked sourdough bread that I enjoy sharing with people I come into contact with, there is nothing like some fresh bread and butter to bring people together. I stay active by studying the gentle art of Jiu-Jitsu, walking my dog Rumi around our beautiful neighborhood, and escaping to the incredible nature that surrounds our city. Traveling has always been a big part of my life and I believe it has made me a better person and real estate agent. Being able to understand and experience other cultures, traditions, needs and desires allows me to better connect with people and their nuances, which is key to providing a tailor-made approach to my clients.
Always happy to help!
I look forward to helping my fellow Portlanders with their home purchase or home sale!
