Grove city, oh – Judy’s Moni wants to be Joyofmylife equal, as with three Buckeye Stallion series victories in the season, while MGM Northfield Park organizes four $ 20,000 Harnas Racedivisions in the fourth stage for first -year Filly Trotters on Sunday. The BSS is part of a 16-race card that starts at 6 p.m.
With Joyofmylife as racing in the Ohio Sires Stakes on Saturday (August 23) in Eldorado Scioto Downs, two-time BSS winner Judy’s Moni (Anthony Macdonald) is the headliner on Sunday. She opened the 9-5 favorite in the fourth division. Trained by Jason McGinnis, the Ready for Moni Filly placed a victory in each of the first two legs in 1: 57.2 on Scioto and 1: 59.4 in Northfield. She finished second in the third stage at Scioto and finished third in her other start this season. Triumphal times (Kurt Sugg) is the 3-1 second choice. The Triumphant Merrieveeulen and Daren Harvey -Stagee have four wins and a third in five seasonal starts. She won a division in the second stage in a lifelong 1: 59.4 and finished third in the third stage. This division contains two other horses who each achieved a BSS victory this season in Dublins Breanna (Luke Hanners) and Rose Run Bridget (Emanuel Miller). Vernon Beachy trainee Dublins Breanna won in the second stage in 1: 59.1, and the Herman Hagerman-Train Rose Run Bridget placed a victory in the opening leg in 2: 01.2 before he finished third in each of the following two legs.
Until the end as (then Noble) is the 6-5 morning line favorite in the first division. The Guardian Angel as Merrieveeulen and Anette Lorentzon-Stagia won a division in the second stage in 2: 00.2 after ending second in the first stage. Kira (Aaron Merriman) is the 4-1 second choice. Trained by Chris Beaver, the Enterprise Filly hit the board once in the four seasonal start and third.
Another Guardian Angel as Filly, Guardian Doll (Ronnie Gillespie), opened as the 7-5 favorite in the Second Division with 5-2 Second choice CaptureThephoto (Merriman). Caught by Gillespie, Guardian Doll was a second place in the third stage and has one win and two seconds in four seasonal starts. Capturethephoto is a trainee and Uncle Peter Filly with two thirds in four starts this season. Guardian Doll and CaptureThephoto will leave of posts four and five. Lorentzon-Stagee Wild as Hair as (Noble), a winner in the third stage in 1: 57.4, was opened as the 9-2 third choice.
On 3-1, Readi Two (Sandy Beatty) is the light early favorite in the third division with 7-2 Second choice Lynn Range (Miller) and 4-1 third choice of the rails (Noble). Trained by Beatty, Readi Two has three victories and one second in four seasonal starts. The Ready for Moni Filly achieved a victory in the third stage in a lifelong 1:58 and was a second place in the opening. Lynn Range is trained by Hagerman. The in reach Merrieveeulen has five wins in seven starts this season with a lifelong best of 2: 03.3. Lynn Range and Readi Two will be posted side by side of posts of posts four and five respectively. Venture Merrieve of the rails is trained by Deborah Swartz. She finished third in each of the first and second legs.
Two-time BSS winners Chasingstardust AS and Hangigthoney L have not been entered in the fourth stage. They are entered in Saturday’s Oss with Joyofmylife ALS, just like Mockingbird ALS, who won a division in the third stage of the BSS after ending as the second place of Judy’s Moni in each of the first two legs.
