The judge who preserves the Intriep of the Harvey Weinstein Sex Crimes, has declared a mistrial about the outstanding rape costs against the former Hollywood film Mogul.

The mistrial came a day after the Jury had convicted Weinstein for a separate indictment against sexual abuse. It has also acquitted him for another indictment for sexual abuse.

Weinstein, once one of the most powerful figures in Hollywood, was confronted with a new process that started on April 23 after a profession in New York had destroyed his conviction in 2020 last year.

He was accused by prosecutors in this case of raping an aspiring actress and attacking two other women.

Weinstein, 73, did not argue and denied that someone was attacked or had non-consensual sex.

The jury found Weinstein guilty on one of the three counts with which he was confronted, which came from his attack by former production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006.

The jury did not find Weinstein guilty of an indictment that came from his alleged attack by Kaja Sokola in 2002 when she was a 16-year-old prospective actress.

Supreme Court Justice Curtis Farber declared a mistrial after the judge said that the jury could not reach a third count, accused him of raping aspiring actress Jessica Mann in 2013.

Weinstein is confronted with a maximum of 25 years in prison when he is convicted. He was sentenced separately to 16 years in prison after a rape order in California.

In a surprising development on Wednesday, the jury foresis told Justice Farber that other members of the panel shouted at him and threatened him because he refused to change his voice about the rape.

Justice Farber sent jury members home to home to give them the time to cool down and the assignment instructed to arrive in court separately on Thursday.

When concluding arguments on 3 June, the persecution told the 12 jury members that the evidence showed how Weinstein used his power and influence to catch and abuse women.

The defense prevented the accusers of the witness, resentment after their consensual sexual encounters with the Oscar-winning producer did not result in Hollywood-star.

A jury found Weinstein guilty in February 2020 from the raping Mrs Mann and the sexual abuse of Mrs. Haley. Mrs Sokola’s claim was not part of that case.

Milestone

The conviction was a milestone for the #MeToo movement, which encouraged women to come forward with accusations of sexual misconduct by powerful men.

But the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court of the State, threw away that conviction in April 2024. It said that the judge of the trial made a mistake by witnessing women that Weinstein had attacked them, although their accusations were not the basis of the criminal charges.

Although the conviction was thrown away, Weinstein, who has had a litany of health problems in recent years and attended the introduction in a wheelchair, stayed behind bars because of his conviction in California. He appeals to that judgment.

More than 100 women, including famous actresses, have accused Weinstein of misconduct.

He was co-founder of the Miramax Studio, whose Hitfilms include such Academy Award winners as Shakespeare in Love and Pulp Fiction.

Weinstein’s own film studio presented bankruptcy in March 2018, five months after accusations of sexual misconduct against him were broadly published.
