Jordyn Woods pulled out all the stops for Karl-Anthony Towns’ 30th birthday.
The Woods by Jordyn founder surprised the Knicks center with a new car, which she said is the same make and model as his late mother’s car she drove when he was a child.
Jacqueline Towns died in April 2020 from COVID-19.
“Over the summer Karl asked me if I could drive any car for a day, which one would it be? I replied and his response was, ‘I wouldn’t choose anything crazy, I just really loved my mother’s car that she had when I was little.’
“So I went on a mission over the past few months to find the car, shipped it across the country, had it repaired and was able to surprise him with it for his 30th today!”
In a video shared by Woods, Towns can be seen driving the car.
“This st is so fire,” Towns said. “This is the best thing ever.”
The couple celebrated Towns’ birthday at a private gathering with friends, including his Knicks teammates Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges, as seen in a video on Instagram.
The Knicks had the night off Friday after a 140-132 win over the Heat at Madison Square Garden.
They meet again on Monday in Miami.
Woods was also behind Towns’ trading card cake from B Cake, a black-owned company in New York.
Towns and Woods, who met through mutual friends, celebrated their fifth anniversary in May.
They were best friends for years before they became romantic during the COVID-19 pandemic.
