Podcast -hastheer Joe Rogan said it is logical to him that to believe that the Bible is the divine inspired Word of God, both reason and faith requires.
Rogan and former Navy Seal Chadd Wright waded the issue in an interview that was published on Thursday. Wright is the founder of Three of the seven projectA health and self-improvement program for the body, the soul and the mind.
Wright first appealed to how unusual the reports of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection are found in the Bible: the Son of God took human flesh and died for the sins of man.
“If it really happened, this is the most bizarre way to transfer a message,” Rogan agreed.
“What is more beyond the norm than the resurrection of Jesus Christ, or Jesus Christ is the Son of God?” he asked.
“You’re well summarized, Joe,” Wright replied.
Rogan continued and said he always tells people that they can be skeptical about the Bible, but: “If you live like that and you believe that and if you follow those teachings, you will have a better life. There is something wrong. There is a reason why people did it.
He concluded: “There is truth in the origin of all this.”
Rogan continued to the discovery of the Dead Sea -Rolls starting 1947 As a basis to trust that what the original authors wrote centuries ago, was accurately passed on to the current text of the Bible.
“In the end it is fascinating that you have something like the book Isaiah, where they found an older version that they didn’t even know it existed. It turns out to be a thousand years older, and it’s literal,” he said.
The roles all date from the 3rd to 1st century BC, which means that they date from Jesus’ ministry in the 1st century AD, the Dead Sea Roles are all old testament, such as Isaiah.
The book 53rd chapter Contains a well-known passage in which the prophet foresees the suffering servant-Jesus Christ who would die for the sins of humanity.
“But he was pierced for our violations; he was crushed for our iniquities; on him the chastisement that brought us peace was, and we were healed with his wounds,” it says.
“Everything we love sheep have strayed; we have – everyone – turned in his own way; and the Lord has put him the iniquity of all of us.”
Read Isaiah 53 in his oldest manuscript. ‘The 54 columns contain all 66 chapters of the Hebrew version of the Biblical book by Isaiah. Dating from around 125 BC, it is also one of the oldest of the Dead Sea roles, about a thousand years older than the oldest manuscripts of the … pic.twitter.com/tmola7mdHG

Wright said to Rogan: “If what I say is correct, in terms of what I believe about Scripture, there must eventually be a divine influence on the preservation of those writings … It would be the only way for Scripture in their original language to really be the word of the Almighty to man.
“It keeps an aspect of faith,” he acknowledged. “We must believe that the Almighty influences man through the power of his spirit in the man to write the things the man wrote.”
Otherwise it’s just the Apostle Paulus And 40 or other authors who write their opinion, Wright argued.
He continued: “If we say that the Bible is really the perfect revelation of God to man, we must understand that the source of all that did not come from man. Somehow it was edited by man if that makes sense.”
“It’s logical,” Rogan replied. “And that is the ultimate truth where it all started.”
Anyway, the podcast -guestheer pointed to the limits of the human reason to try to distinguish whether the Bible is true.
“That is where the skeptical person comes in and says,” Well, this is ridiculous … You have to believe in faith, because it logically makes no sense, “Rogan said.
“And so the problem is that you make this assumption that the human mind is flawless and that it can perceive the truth, regardless of your learned experiences, regardless of what you know about the world,” he added.
Rogan unveiled Recently that he is going to church, but it is not clear whether he has decided to follow Jesus; However, he seems to come close.
