Cedeno was aware and gave a thumb up when she was taken off the track on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance. She was transferred to Hackensack Medical Center and complained about pain and ribs.
Cedeno was kicked by two horses, one on her back broke her ribs and spine, the other on her wrist that was disrupted and broken.
The tough athlete said that the fractures in her spine are small and will only heal. Allegedly she operated on her wrist on Monday and she was able to rest at home soon.
