A Pakistani intruder was shot and arrested by the BSF in J&K’s Kathua
The Border Security Force (BSF) conquered a Pakistan intrigue after they opened fire when observing the movement of a group of people trying to infiltrate in the Indian side along the international border in the Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials told PTI.
The BSF was alert and patrolled in the area when today they noticed a number of suspicious people between Chandwan and Kothey Borderposts in the Hiranagar sector around 4 p.m. The troops challenged those invaders to stop, the officials said further. The BSF officials said that the intruders ignored their repeated warnings to stop, so that the BSF staff were triggered to open the fire, which injured one of the invaders. The troops patrolled the forward posts.
After opening the fire, the troops immediately ran in the direction of the group and arrested the injured intruder and shifted him to a hospital for treatment, the officials inquired. They also said that his identity and the motive behind his failed attempt to infiltrate this side was a matter of further investigation.
