Jiri Prochazka is still eyeing a title shot, as his match against Carlos Ulberg has not yet been officially confirmed. Rumors recently surfaced of a booking between Prochazka and Ulberg at UFC 327 on April 11 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. However, Prochazka recently dismissed the rumors and claimed that the match is still being negotiated. Prochazka wants to fight at the end of March because he is expecting the birth of his child in April. “BJP” also made it clear that he is still looking for a title contender.

Nothing to report

“All this information on the internet about me and Ulberg is not true,” Prochazka said on his Instagram Stories. “Because the fight has not yet been confirmed, there are still negotiations about it. And only for me I can say that I want to fight by the end of March. Because in April it is time for [new] baby… And that I want to fight for the title. This is it. Believe the official reports from UFC.”Prochazka (32-5) has finished every UFC opponent put in front of him, with the exception of Alex Pereira. The Czech has suffered injury losses in two title fights against Pereira. Prochazka recently scored a come-from-behind victory over Khalil Rountree at UFC 320 in October 2025. On the same card, Pereira regained the light heavyweight title with a knockout win over Magomed Ankalaev in the main event. Prochazka has since been eyeing a title shot against Pereira, which is a tough ask considering his two previous defeats to ‘Poatan’.

Meanwhile, Ulberg (13-1) is riding a nine-fight winning streak with six finishes since his lone career loss in his UFC debut in 2021. “Black Jag” is coming off a first-round knockout win over Dominick Reyes at UFC Perth in September 2025.
