Racing was delayed in York for almost half an hour on Sunday after Crowley and Whelan were injured in the Garrowby Stakes.
In the meantime, Noonan was kicked by a horse at the start of a race in Fontwell.
The IJF confirmed that Crowley and Whelan were brought to Leeds General Infirmary after their waterfalls.
“Jim ran a pelvic and leg fracture and after the first treatment to stop internal bleeding on Sunday, he was operated on Monday to stabilize his fractures,” read an IJF statement.
“He is doing well after the operation, is in good mood and remains in the hospital for the time being.”
The IJF said that Whelan will see a specialist single surgeon on Tuesday after a “complex single fracture”.
Crowley rode on the William Haggas-Train Race favorite Almeraq when, apart from the space over a furlong, his mountain heels cut with another horse and came down.
Almeraq rolled over Crowley, while the next chasing Tiger Bay by Henry Candy was nowhere to go and was brought down, who also sent Whelan to the grass.
Both horses seemed to escape without serious injury.
Noonan was operated on Monday in the Royal Sussex County Hospital to stabilize a leg fracture and the IJF said he “hopes to be fired quickly”.
“All three Jockeys will require long -term recovery and rehabilitation,” added the body of the wounded Jockeys.
“They are extremely grateful for the excellent care they have received from the medical teams on the racecourses and want to thank everyone for their concern.”
