The Government of Jharkhand and the Embassy of Spain held a high -level meeting on Monday in Jharkhand Bhawan in New Delhi to promote strategic cooperation in important sectors, including trade, investments, innovation and institutional cooperation.
The meeting was led by Jharkhand’s Secretary of Industry, Arava Raj Kamal and Chief Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Embassy of Spain, Lucia Paternina.
This dialogue was a follow -up to the recent visit by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to Spain and was aimed at translating high -level discussions into structured and long -term partnerships.
The most important cooperation areas were industrial investments, clean energy, mining technology, tourism and exhibition infrastructure. The Jharkhand government proposed to formalize cooperation through a memorandum of agreement (MOU) and setting up a special Spain -Jharkhand -Coordination cell to streamline bilateral efforts.
The two parties also emphasized co-branding options at upcoming worldwide peaks and conferences. A delegation visit from Spanish business and cultural representatives to Ranchi later this year was also proposed to promote direct involvement.
In addition, the meeting of partnerships between educational institutions and government agencies for the development of skills, capacity building and cultural exchange initiatives.
The conversations are concluded with both parties who express a shared dedication to speed up the development of institutional frameworks to support innovation, investments and stronger ties with people-to-people between Spain and Jharkhand.
