The Winnipeg Jets have a new franchise scoring leader. With 813 points (342 goals, 471 assists), Mark Scheifele stands alone, thanks to a power play against the Nashville Predators on Saturday, October 18.

Scheifele was selected in the first round by the Jets in 2011, the team’s first-ever draft pick, and has spent his entire career with the franchise. Despite his age, the 32-year-old centerman is in the prime of his career. With a career-high of 87 points last season and nine points through his first five games of 2025-26, he is sure to extend his lead. The previous record holder was Blake Wheeler, who retired in July 2025.
Not only does hockey light the lamp, but Scheifele has cemented his case as the best jet skater ever, at least for now. He has been a key contributor each time the team has made the playoffs (2015, 2018-2021, 2023-2025), scoring at least 20 goals and 60 points in ten seasons. He has a contract until the summer of 2031 and is not going anywhere.
