The Jetour T1 has received a full five-star rating from ASEAN NCAP, following the performance of its stablemate, the T2, earlier this month.

Like the T2, the T1 was tested under the outgoing assessment protocol 2021-2025, which has now been completed, ASEAN NCAP said in its official release for the assessment of the Jetour T1. This has been replaced by the new 2026-2030 protocol and all assessments starting this year will be conducted under this protocol.

Similar to the ASEAN NCAP report for the T2, the T1 report also lists Malaysia under ‘other ASEAN production’, indicating local assembly (CKD) for the T1.

The T1 scored 30.47 points out of a possible 32.00 points in the adult occupant protection rating (AOP), 41.26 points out of a possible 51.00 points in the child occupant protection rating (COP), 18.00 points out of a possible 21.00 points in the safety rating, and 13.00 points out of a possible 16.00 points in the motorcycle safety rating.
