Jazz Two-Way Guard Elijah Harkless named G League Player of the Month for December

Utah Jazz two-way guard Elijah Harkless has been named G League Player of the Month for December. The honor marks the first Player of the Month award in Harkless’ professional career.

Harkless played 10 games with the Salt Lake City Stars in December and averaged 28.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 29.3 minutes per game. The 6-foot-4 guard from UNLV scored more than 20 points in nine games and topped 30 points four times.

His highest scoring performance came on December 31 against the Memphis Hustle, when he recorded 39 points. Harkless made a career-high 14 field goals on 22 attempts while shooting 5-for-8 from three-point range and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.

Harkless played a pivotal role during the Winter Showcase Championship run in Salt Lake City. He led the team in scoring during the three-game tournament, averaging 28.3 points while shooting 45.5 percent from the field and converting all 16 free throw attempts.

In the 137-112 championship win over Raptors 905, Harkless scored 25 points on 8-for-15 shooting from the field and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. He also recorded six rebounds, eight assists and two steals in the title game.

The San Bernardino native has collected multiple accolades this season. Harkless was named to the 2025 All-Winter Showcase Team and earned 2024-2025 G League Most Improved Player honors.
