The Utah Jazz bounced back from a 55-point loss with a 123-112 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.

Keyonte George led the Jazz with 32 points, nine assists and 12-of-12 shooting at the free throw line, while Lauri Markkanen added 28 and 12 rebounds after trailing by 10 points.

Jusuf Nurkik also contributed 11 points and 17 rebounds after missing the last two games due to a toe injury.

The win was Utah’s second in the past eight games and came two nights after a 150-95 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, the second-largest by scoring margin in franchise history and the largest since they moved from New Orleans in 1979.

On the other end, Cavaliers floor general Darius Garland dropped 23 points, while Donovan Mitchell scored 21.

Cleveland trailed by 17 points and 46-36 midway through the first quarter before going on a 26-8 run over the final 7:45 of the second quarter to take a 62-54 lead at halftime.

The Cavs’ largest lead was 10 points early in the third quarter before the Jazz rallied on a 21-8 run.

The Jazz held a 90-89 lead early in the fourth quarter before going on a 16-6 run in three minutes to take control.

Svi Mykhailuk started the run with a pair of three-pointers.

Both teams shot well from the line as Cleveland made all 13 free throws and Utah was 25 of 28.

Utah and Cleveland will both be in the road game on Wednesday, with the Jazz playing the Bulls and the Cavs playing the Sixers.
