India National Cricket Team head coach Gautam Gambhir has received criticism for resting the Tempo Speerpunt Jasprit Bumrah in the current Asia Cup 2025 match.

Suryakumar Yadav added that they want to keep doing good things against Sri Lanka and improve their field. He said:
“” I think we just want to continue with what we have done. We both have three times and we first hit twice. We actually wanted to hit it today. We are happy with it. Good atmosphere, good games are going around, just keep it up. (About taking catches) I think it is part of the game.
In particular, Bumrah looked out of the rhythm in the Asia Cup 2025, and his best can still be seen. In two games against Pakistan he registered figures of 2/28 and 0/46, while registering figures of 2/18 and 1/19 against Bangladesh and the VAE.
