Sinner three-peats as fan favorite at the 2025 ATP Awards
Italian added six titles to his trophy cabinet in 2025
December 12, 2025
Jannik Sinner continues to win not only on the field, but also in the hearts of the fans. The Italian, who won six tour-level titles in 2025, was voted Fans’ Favorite singles player at the ATP Awards for the third year in a row.
“Thank you so much for voting for me,” Sinner said in a special message to fans. “Winning the Fans’ Favorite award once again means a lot to me, especially thanks to you.
“It’s been a very intense year, but you give me so much energy and love, especially when I go on the court and perform in front of you. It’s the best feeling for us tennis players, so thank you very much. I will prepare myself in the best possible way to be ready for next year, and see you very, very soon.”
Sinner opened the year by successfully defending his title at the Australian Open. Of the twelve tour-level events in which Sinner competed, he reached at least the finals in all but two (Halle, Shanghai). A highlight came when he defeated rival Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final to lift his first trophy at the All England Club.
Sinner finished the season ranked world number 2, behind Alcaraz, and ended the year on a 15-match winning streak, with title runs in Vienna, Paris and at the Nitto ATP Finals, where the Italian did not drop a set en route to the title for the second consecutive year. The 24-time tour-level titlist posted a season record of 58-6, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
Sinner is a routine visitor to the ATP Awards stage. As a teenager, he was named Newcomer of the Year in 2019. In 2023, Sinner took home both Most Improved Player of the Year and Favorite Fans honors. The following season he again won the fans’ vote, as well as ATP No. 1 presented by PIF.
