The four-time Major champion has been named the ATP Fans’ Favorite Singles Player of the Year for the third season in a row. Jannik thus became only the second player to receive this honor three times, along with his idol Roger Federer.
The Swiss icon dominated the category from 2003 to 2021, winning it 19 years in a row before Rafael Nadal took charge in 2022. After the Spaniard, Sinner was the only winner, who received the ultimate praise from his fellow competitors.

Jannik had an exciting ride in 2024 and conquered the ATP throne after eight ATP titles. The Italian missed three months of 2025 but still finished with six trophies, including the most impressive post-US Open run.
Despite finishing second in the ATP Rankings behind Carlos Alcaraz, Sinner still achieved tremendous feats and expanded his path to greatness in tennis.
The 24-year-old played twelve tournaments in 2025 and reached ten finals, showing incredible consistency. He won six titles and lost the other four title matches to Alcaraz.
Jannik defended the Australian Open title in January and made a strong return in May. He played for the trophy in Rome, Paris, London, Cincinnati and New York, falling to Carlos four times, but becoming the first Italian to win the Wimbledon crown.
Sinner made further improvements after the final US Open loss. He finished the season by winning four of the last five tournaments, extending his incredible indoor run and providing a boost for 2026.
The Italian ended the season with another strong ATP Finals run, winning the title without losing a set and writing history books. After his most recent success, Jannik now has five ATP awards.
In 2019 he was named Newcomer of the Year. Four years later, Sinner took home two awards. He became the Most Improved Player of the Year and secured his first Fans’ Favorite award.
He repeated it in 2024 and added another this season, adding Roger Federer to the exclusive list.
