Jannik Sinner fires back to Alexander Zverev about Carlos Alcaraz conspiracy theory

World No. 2 Jannik Sinner shot back on Alexander Zverev about his conspiracy theory about Italian and World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz.

Zverev recently said Tournament directors deliberately delayed the playback of surfaces To favor Sinner and Alcaraz so that they would meet in the final:

“I hate it when it’s the same, to be honest,” said the German.

When asked about the comments at the Shanghai masters, the sinner was initially overwhelmed and confused.

“Wow. I don’t know what to say about that to be honest,” he said.

Later, in print, Sinner added these thoughts.

“You know, I and Carlos, we don’t take the courts. It’s not our decision. We try to adjust ourselves in every situation. I feel that every week is a bit different every week. I have played a number of great tennis, even if they were faster jobs. But I don’t make the courts, you know, so I just try to play and play.”

Sinner and Zverev are currently both playing Shanghai, while Alcaraz withdrew after winning the Japan who was open about Taylor Fritz last week.

Sinner and Alcaraz have combined to win the last eight Grand Slam titles, while Zverev has never won a major.

Alcaraz defeated Sinner in four sets last month to win the US Open in a match viewed by President Donald Trump.
