Jamie Carragher has sent a Stark -warning to Liverpool and Arne Slot, insistently that the Premier League champions are gambling with their title defense.
The Anfield legend is of the opinion that the ‘all-or-nothing’ goal to the Newcastle United Alexander Isak’s striker is a risk that Liverpool could cost their Premier League crown.
Carragher admits that although Isak would undoubtedly strengthen the team of Arne Slot, Liverpool could not afford to waste in the last days of the Banking transfer window exclusively when the Swede lands, and has insisted on the club to immediately set up a ‘Plan B’.
The ruling champions saw a club record £ 110 million offered by Newcastle in the transfer window, and with the Magpies without pressure to sell, Carragher fears that the Reds enter dangerous territory.
