A day after the New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone DJ Lemahieu had appointed the bank, his time came to the Bronx an unofficial stop. On Wednesday, the team announced that they will let him go before the Trade Deadline of 31 July.
Lemahieu had had a hard time because of his injuries in recent years. The player himself was not aware of his condition, but the drive to be on the field with his team, to put on the chalk stripes was simply bigger.
This was also supported by Aaron Judge, who said there was nothing more than baseball in the life of DJ Lemahieu. It is all he once wanted to talk about and wanted to be with the team.

“The injuries were certainly disturbed by him, just because he wanted to be there and he wanted to perform,” said Judge, according to the New York Post. “He wanted to be there for the team, there for all of us. When he couldn’t do that physically, it certainly hurt him.
“Because he cared about the team. He hated missing games, it didn’t hate us to be there. It’s just difficult how it ended, but we’ll certainly miss him here.”
Lemahieu would often enter the dressing room of the Yankees with a dirt -covered sweater. Judge said it was all due to his ‘diving, sliding across the field’. It was not a sudden habit he picked up, but something he has been doing since his LSU days.
Aaron Judge praised the former Honkman and noticed that the Yankees would not have come where they are if he is not for him. Judge remembered all the play -off runs they made with him. When asked how it felt to learn about Lemahieu’s departure, Judge said, “It wasn’t great.”
Yankees -Manager Aaron Boone opens on the release of DJ Lemahieu
The New York Yankees announced that they released DJ Lemahieu, with $ 22 million in his $ 90 million contract. On Thursday, manager Aaron Boone spoke about the departure of the veteran.
“It was a difficult few days, a number of difficult conversations and eventually come to this decision, of course not easy for what a great player was,” said Aaron Boone according to athletics. “He has done a lot of great things for this organization, but in the end I feel that this is the right thing to do right now.”
From now on Jorbit Vivas has been moved to the schedule setup. The Yankees propose an arrangement of players on the third base, including Vivas, Oswald Peraza and JC Escarra. Jazz Chishholm Jr. Has moved to 2B. The team will investigate further players options in the upcoming trade theadline.
