PM Modi is 75 today. Born on September 17, 1950, in the city of Mehsana in Gujarat, he served as Chief Minister of the State between 2001 and 2014 for three consecutive deadlines. He is now the prime minister for the third term after being chosen for the first time in 2014.

The Prime Minister thanked his Italian counterpart for her support in completing the trade agreement between India and the European Union (EU) and promoting connectivity through the India -middle East -European Economic Corridor (IMEEC) initiative.
The two leaders also exchanged the views on regional and worldwide issues of mutual importance. They agreed on the need for an early and peaceful solution of the conflict in Ukraine. PM Modi repeated the full support of India for efforts in this direction.
