Taylor Fritz has cemented his status as one of the game’s most dominant servers by firing 867 aces on tour in 2025. This should be something to watch for the rest of the Tour, as Infosys ATP Data reveals that Fritz has been on a clear upward trajectory.
After racking up 530 aces in 56 matches in 2021, Fritz has steadily risen in the rankings each season to where he stands today, leading the pack.

| 2024 | 725 | 74 | 9.8 | 3rd |
| 2023 | 692 | 77 | 8.98 | 2nd |

“Every time I step up, I try to get an ace,” Fritz told ATPTour.com at the Australian Open. “Maybe there is an exception: if the conditions are very slow and the balls are worn, I might think where I can serve will give me the best chance of starting the point if it is not an ace. But I think I always go the extra mile to try and get a free point from serve.”
Fritz’s dominance from the line was on full display in Stuttgart last year, where the American completed an uninterrupted 43 service games to lift the trophy. He crushed 45 aces that week and faced only four break points the entire tournament.
Does Fritz feel he has a better chance of firing an ace if the player is close to the baseline or far back?
“It depends on the speed and the conditions. I would say a fairly neutral position feels good,” Fritz said. “I feel like people who stand up are very easy to beat, but when they get a racket on it, the return that comes back is much harder to deal with.
“Once they get back, I think they might come back more often, but the second shot feels much easier. So it’s hard to say.”
A ten-time tour-level titlist, Fritz reached a career-high fourth place in the PIF ATP rankings in November 2024, two months after competing in his first major final at the US Open. In 2025, Fritz qualified for the prestigious Nitto ATP Finals for the third time.
