Is Andrew Jacked’s Front Lat the best in bodybuilding history? – Muscle and fitness

Andrew Jacked is the man of the moment who achieved a career-high third-place finish in the 2025 Mr Olympia competition and dominated the podium at the recent Romanian Muscle Fest Pro event. And no one is more impressed with his physique than Milos Sarcev, who used his time in episode 259 of The Threat Podcast to make a very bold claim:

“Andrew’s (front) lat spread is the best lat spread in bodybuilding history,” Milos Sarcev told Dennis James and Chris Cormier on TMP. “Hey, let me tilt my head now,” The Menace joked as Cormier continued laughing. “Wait a minute, wait a minute,” Sarcev responded, explaining that in a text conversation with coach Chris Aceto, he found out that another coach and regular Jose Raymond agreed with his observation.

Sarcev qualified his bold claim by noting that the width, fullness and definition of Andrew Jacked’s shoulders, and how they connect to the biceps and triceps, are a big part of his winning package. “No one has that striped chest from top to bottom,” he continued.

James interjected and said that ‘The Mind’ made a good case that Jacked has the best front bar spread in the current era. ‘But you say: from all times?’ Sarcev, however, was adamant. “Of all time,” he doubled down, mentioning big names like Dorian Yates and Lee Haney and concluding once again that “nobody comes close” to Andrew Jacked in this area.

“Then there is, not only wide slats, (but) also a thickness in the width,” Sarcev continued with his characteristic passion. “Sometimes in a lat spread you can only see the width, but (with AJ) you can see a thickness of the width of his ‘cobra’ lats, right down to the craziest, photoshopped looking abs, so damn deep it’s ridiculous, with a waist so small and the lats popping out.” Cormier interrupted Sarcev here to sarcastically joke that it was all ‘AI’, but ‘The Mind’ was undeterred and once again compared Andrew Jacked’s legs favorably to Dorian Yates and Lee Haney.

Sarcev’s opinion drew a sideways glance from Cormier and a wry smile from James, who found Sarcev’s animated sales pitch amusing. “I’ll be the good host,” The Menace said. “Let Chris reprimand that.” Sarcev’s verbal sparring partners agreed that Jacked has one of the best front lat spreads of all time, but neither man could agree that he has the best lat spread ‘of all time’. “That’s almost disrespectful,” James said, unable to keep quiet. “And a little bit of dementia,” Cormier joked.
