Irrelevant Dillon Danis has “never won a fight in his life” according to former UFC candidate

Colby Covington refuses to give Dillon Danis the time of day.

Danis made headlines again after being involved in a viral scuffle at UFC 322 just as the pay-per-view was kicking off. During the live broadcast, a commotion could be seen behind Jon Anik, Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier, leaving many on social media wondering what the heck was going on.

It didn’t take long for video footage to surface, showing Danis in the middle of a violent brawl, pitting him against several members of Islam Makhachev’s team.

Although the media was quick to report on Danis’ latest pranks, Covington isn’t interested in giving Conor McGregor’s former BJJ coach any time of day.

“I can’t pay attention to anything that guy does,” Covington said The Schmo in a recent interview. “He’s irrelevant, he’s never won a fight in his life. I don’t pay attention to the sideshow of the circus.”

While it’s not often that we can fully agree with one of Covington’s statements, it’s a bit ironic to call Danis a “circus sideshow” considering “Chaos” has made a career out of associating himself with U.S. President Donald Trump and becoming the UFC’s unofficial spokesperson for the “MAGA” movement.

Danis earned himself a lifetime ban from UFC events after the incident at UFC 322. Meanwhile, Covington is trying to jump back in. Octagon already in January.

After rumors swirled that the former interim champion had quietly retired from the fight game, Covington revealed that he plans to be part of the highly anticipated UFC event at the White House this summer, but plans to have a “tune-up fight” in early 2026.
