Marvel Television’s Iron Did a teaser released in June to screen on Disney+.
The Stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a young, brilliant inventor whose IJzerpost is the best in the MCU.
The character made her debut in 2022’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, directed by Ryan Coogler. “Ironheart is such a great character in publishing,” said Coogler. “In 2016, Brian Michael Bendis created a character that would be a sort of successor to The Iron Man Legacy. In the comic book, Riri Williams and Tony Stark had a relationship – she was a student who came from an almost polar opposite background, but they came together in their passion for a better society.”
Take award to the events of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, “Ironheart” sets up technology against magic when Riri – decisive to leave her mark on the world – goes back to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique view of the construction of iron suits is brilliant, but when she’s pursuant to her ambitions, she is packed with the mysterious but charming Parker Robbins aka “The Hood” (Anthony Ramos). Chinaka Hodge is the main writer; Episodes are directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis d’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Chinaka Hodge, Ryan Coogler, Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. Music is from Dara Taylor. Produced in conjunction with proximity media, launches “Ironheart” on Disney+ 25 June 2025.
