Reports and speculation about the trade of various top stars of Indian Cricket have made the rounds in recent weeks. One of the biggest names on this list is Sanja SamsonDie Rajasthan Royals supplied in the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
According to some reports, Samson, who came to the Royals in 2013 and has broken she has been broken since 2021, leaving the inaugural champions next year next year. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has reportedly shown interest in acquiring the services of the Kerala Wicketkeeper-Batter.
However, CSK -Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin believes that trade may not work, because Rajasthan may not get the players they are looking for in exchange for Samson. Ashwin was of the opinion that CSK is one of the least interested teams when it comes to signing players by Handel.
“Why the CSK-RR trade does not work is because if Sanju is traded to CSK, and RR then tries to act with other teams, it is unlikely that it will get valuable players in exchange. If RR wants a spinner like Ravi Bishnoi and LSG, the problem is that Lsgaal is.

Samson only played nine games in IPL 2025. He played the first three games of the season as an impact player and missed five because of a belly injury halfway through the campaign. The 30-year-old managed to collect 285 runs of nine games at an average of 35.63 and a success rate of 140.39.
