The flashy home lovers of Sydney simply form Mega -Bucks to keep track of the neighbors – with buyers in some suburbs who pay more than double the leading rate for houses dripping in designer Flair.
Forget boring brick veneer – in the pockets of the city, only slick styling, marble bows and shiny interiors will do it. Research of luxury styling -outfit sovereign interiors showed that buyers in some postcodes splash millions more about designer properties.
Interior and houses designed by the architects in NSW have usually offered the prices $ 128,000 higher. A non-style house with two beds on average $ 1.7 million, while architect or interior designed houses yielded an average of $ 2.37 million.

The difference was much higher in some areas. In Balgowlah, a two-part bed costs on average a cool $ 1.42 million but if it has been refurbished by an interior designer, rocket the price rockets to a stunning $ 2.58 million.
In North Shore outskirts of Northbridge, houses with three bedrooms are on average $ 3.63 million to have had the designer treatment, in which case the average costs rise to $ 5.24 million.
Houses with two bedrooms in Collaroy had an average price of $ 1.24 million compared to the architect or the domestic home average of $ 2.17 million.

The findings of sovereign interiors came from analysis of 115.607 lists on realestate.com.au Nationaal in August 2025.
The research included comparing houses mentioned as ‘interior designer designed’ or ‘architect designed’, categorized by the number of bedrooms and suburb.
Homeowners in some areas revealed that home styling made a considerable difference for their sale of real estate.
Travis and Jacqui Langdon recently hired a stylist before they mentioned their five -year -old Allambie Basis.
“We really wanted to give our house the best possible opportunity and appeal to the broadest market,” said Mrs. Langdon, and noted that they chose an integrated styling campaign with some of their own pieces.

“I would not necessarily say that we had a certain style in mind, it was more close to what we saw on Instagram, how we liked their styling and then match the theme we were already going for,” said Mrs. Langdon.
“Kind of that tropical oasis in the back and show that there are really many zones.”
According to Mr Langdon, there is already positive feedback. “Many people love the furniture and so on,” he said.
Langdon’s sales agent, Tim Cullen from McGrath-Many, said that Thuis Styling has become critical over the past decade.
“It’s more than worth the weight in gold,” he said. “In our area, around $ 10,000 (in styling and design) can be equal to fifty to one hundred or even a few hundred thousand dollars in money that returns to the family.”

Mr Cullen said that the styling led to a larger number of people coming to open houses and that it cannot be, can be harmful because it would limit the number of buyers that it is “emotionally attached” to the building.
“I rarely sell a non-stiled real estate,” he said. “The difference between stylized and non-stiled is chalk and cheese … without that the building can look pretty bland or soulless.”

Sovereine interior interior stylist Cayley Scrooby said that buyers are increasingly attracted by houses that offer a sense of current, quality and functionality. “People are looking for the full package,” she said.
Mrs. Scrooby offered this interior tips:
• Use natural light to open the layout, making the house feel as clear and airy as possible
• Focus on core rooms for renovations such as the kitchen and bathroom
• Hoose Timeless about trends such as natural stones, wood and neutral palette
• Make the house as functional and practical as possible
• Effective styling must enable people to imagine the house as their own
