It’s time for the third New York Super Trunk Show this Saturday. The same great location on Manhattan, on the Upper East Side between Madison Ave and Central Park, where we collect a bunch of great shoe and men’s clothing exhibitors from all over the world, have a free shoe shiny service, stage sessions about different shoe topics and the American championships of shoe shine. Here is some practical information prior to the event for visitors, and on the live streaming of those who cannot participate.
The event is organized by The Shoe Snob BlogSwing and Kirby Allisonand takes place at at The KF House (The Kosciuszko Foundation) At 15th 65th St. we hope to see hundreds of visitors as usual. Below is the full schedule for the day:

– The location is the same as in previous years, the KF house (formerly called the Kosciuszko Foundation). It is a beautiful old mansion owned by a Polish organization. As mentioned, it is located on 15th 65th ST, with street input. There is no mandatory wardrobe, but a clothes hanger is on the lower floor (we are not responsible for items left there). You will also find toilets there.

– We open the doors to the public at 11 a.m. and we close at 6.30 p.m. Sometimes it can be a bit busy around some exhibitor tables, be prepared for that, be patient, respect each other’s and it always works out fine.
– Most exhibitors have many samples on display. When you are ready to wear shoes, try them carefully, do not walk away in the location. If you place orders, some exhibitors will accept credit cards, some mainly use PayPal for the transaction. Keep your eyes open for a good deal, because many exhibitors have great offers during the day. And don’t forget that an important thing to be able to continue to do these events is that the brands get sales and value of participation.
– There will be a free shoe scale throughout the day through Saphir service. Preston Soto of the elegant Oxford and Levi Elliot from Levi’s Shoe Shine will shine visitor shoes. A good opportunity to shine your shoes by some of the best in America. Saphir will have a lot of products for sale during the event, so an opportunity to stock up on their products.

– We have the liqueur company ten for one rum on site that serves drinks. It is free for all visitors. Enjoy it, but of course, drink in a responsible manner.
– At 3 p.m. it is time for the American championships of shoes that shine. This time, finalists are Nicholas Fuentes, Mario Cesar Samaniego and Ray Chen, they will let a new Bridlen shoe with Saphir products shine and fight for great prices and the title in just 20 minutes. There will be bars for the polishing participants, with some seats for the public, but many will have to get up. It will be crowdy, but people get a good view of the impressive work of the participants.

– The top three shoes of the world championships of the Schoenmakerij competition, plus the winner of the Patina World Champs, will be shown all day. Please do them carefully when you lift them, but don’t miss the work completely.
– We will stream live from the Shine competition at 3 p.m. (EDT). It will be here on shoegazing.com and on Shoegazing’s YouTube channel. We hope that we will not encounter any technical problems. There will also be many films later from Kirby Allison, and always from a couple of others who are also visiting.
– In social media we have the hashtag as usual #supertrunk Use it for the event when you post photos in social media. It is a great way to follow what is happening and see many nice shoes, for those of you who cannot visit the event.
