Considering that three years have passed since that match, it is very difficult to predict what the current field has to offer the teams. However, don’t expect a wicket score of over 200 – a score around 160-170 could be competitive.
The T20 squad for Team India looks very different from the one that played against the ODIs. There are so many key players missing and a young Indian team will be key. Team India has been following a 4+2 or 3+3 Spin + Pace since the last few series with 11 combinations being played in T20Is. While Australia is a location where pacers may get more help, the pitch may not play much of a role when we play in the T20 format, and we have mystery spinners. Talking about the batting line-up, Team India will again see Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill as openers. Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma will form the middle class.
