~ India takes on Korea in their first match of the Super4S stage ~
New Delhi, September 9, 2025: The Indian hockey team of the ladies will try to continue their undefeated run while they prepare for the Super4S stage of the current Women’s Asia Cup 2025 in Hangzhou. India will be confronted with heavy competition against hosts China, defending champions Japan and Korea in this crucial phase of the tournament.
India finished on top of Pool B with seven points from three games. They started their campaign with a continuous 11-0 win over Thailand, followed by an exciting 2-2 draw against Japan, and wrapped their polar stage with an emphatic 12-0 win against Singapore.
For India, attackers Navneset Kaur and Mumtaz Khan are in great shape, each score five goals in the polar phase and it is expected to continue their scoring touch while the team fights for a place in the final.

In the Super4S phase, every team – India, China, Japan and Korea – will play against each other once. The top two games are eligible for the final, while the other two play the 3rd/4th place. India will open their Super4S campaign on 10 September against Korea, before he will record China on September 13 on September 13 on September 13.
