In the suburb of the Hidden Queensland rated as the best place for homeowners – realestate.com.au

Danny and Amy Neilsen only arrived in Mudgeeraba for two months before it was called the best lifestyle for homeowners in Queensland.

With a two -year -old and an old baby of four weeks, the couple looked up and down the Gold Coast to find the right house for their growing family.

“We were probably looking for a good 8 months,” said Mr. Neilsen.

“That was quite difficult – because of those processes and the weekend open houses while they juggling with a toddler, because they usually coincide with a nap.”

When the couple thought a house that they could afford, they did not yet realize the benefits of the suburb.

A new report form The MCG quantity of surveyors discovered that the Mudgeeraba-Bonogin area is the best real estate market in Southeast Queensland for lifestyle and growth.

With the help of info from suburbtrends, the suburbs were arranged by a mix of access to the beach, natural environment, urban facilities and family friendliness.

Mudgeeraba bonogin was one of the four suburbs of Gold Coast in the top ten, together with five Sunshine Coast-Buitenwijk and only one suburb of Brisbane.

The couple sought the Gold Coast up and down, with four suburbs that reached the top 10 of Queensland on the lifestyle scale.

“We had no idea that it was so beautiful and friendly here, but now that we know we want to spread it a bit,” said Mrs. Neilsen.

“The moment we moved, all our neighbors knocked on our door and said” everything you need, let us know ” – what we have never had before.”

The couple bought a house with three bedrooms in the area for just over $ 1 million, in which houses usually sold for around $ 1,295 million.

Mrs Neilsen said that many of the houses they had seen were heritage and helped give the area a modern village feeling.

“People have been in our street here for 45 years,” she said.

“You feel that you are remote from all things of some of the more dense suburbs,” said Mr. Neilsen.

Raine & Horne -agent Jasmin Turpin, who grew up in the area, said that the suburb became ‘very desirable’ for new families, when older residents moved to smaller houses.

“I think it has been picked up as a hidden area in recent years,” she said. “It is getting a little older now, so there are many houses that need to be renovated, but it allows those first house buyers to come in there [and] Do it on how they feel. ‘

“We pack the pram and go into the city on Saturday morning and enjoy a good breakfast,” said Mr Neilsen. “It was definitely a challenge, and it took us a few years to save for what we needed to come in, but we felt that we were locked up with these.”
