Jonquières-Saint-Vincent must link a new connection of 400,000 volts to FOS-sur-Mer. The route is very strongly criticized by stakeholders. Mobilize the public authorities to prevent this major project from breaking through a court decision.
Arles, the Alpilles, the Camargue … an iconic region, between old stones, marshes, flamingos and protected natural spaces. And perhaps soon a new very high voltage electric line of 65 km, set up at 180 pylons, some of which will peak at 80 m high. The perspective has something in panic lovers of heritage or nature. Opponents of the Mobilization project, reinforced by the decision of the court that stopped the work of the A69 -Velweg between Toulouse and Castres, to invalidate its environmental authorization almost two years after the start of the work.
Their protests were heard, at least partly. After a first phase of the consultation, the State eventually opted for the performance of a public debate, from 2 April to 13 July, entitled ” Fos Berre Provence, an industrial future ». The new prefect of the Bouches du Rhône, Georges-François Leclerc took over the subject. The goal? Miling voltages upstream, to prevent this large RE -Industrialization project from having violated a court decision. A big challenge for a more complex file than it seems.
