BALTIMORE (AP) — Joe Burrow threw two second-half touchdown passes in his return to Cincinnati, and the Bengals snapped Baltimore’s five-game winning streak by beating the turnover-prone Ravens 32-14 on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday.
Baltimore (6-6) had three fumbles in the first half. He turned the ball over five times in the game.
Although the Bengals (4-8) didn’t take full advantage of those mistakes, Burrow and his receivers started connecting in the final two quarters.
Tanner Hudson made an incredible one-handed catch in the end zone for a 14-yard touchdown that put Cincinnati ahead 19-7. After the Ravens responded with an 18-yard touchdown run by Keaton Mitchell, Burrow threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Andrei Iosivas late in the third quarter.
Baltimore then advanced into Bengals territory, but a deflected pass from Lamar Jackson was intercepted by Demetrius Knight Jr., the third turnover of the night for the two-time MVP quarterback.
The Ravens started the season 1-5. They recovered to overtake Pittsburgh atop the AFC North Division. But this time, Baltimore hasn’t been as impressive offensively in recent wins over Cleveland and the New York Jets.
And he looked even worse against a Cincinnati defense that had performed abysmal.
