The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has published an ‘Orange’ alert, who predicted heavy rain shower in parts of Jharkhand, including state capital ranchi, until 1 July, an official said.
Ranchi has witnessed the light since Sunday morning to moderate the rainfall, and its intensity will probably increase as the day progresses, the IMD officer added.
The ‘Orange’ warning (orphan prepared) for heavy rainfall was published for Khunti, Ranchi, Saraikela-Karswan, East and West Singhbhum Districts on Sunday, according to the Weerlocetin published by the IMD.
“The rainfall will be caused by the formation of a low-printing area in the northern bay of Bengal and his subsequent slow movement in a West-Noord-west to Jharkhand. However, Godda and Deoghar are still confronted with a rainfall deficiency of 26 percent and 22 percent respectively.
