Heckingbottom will be hopeful of having long-term absentees back for the busy festive period, with the likes of Ali McCann and Brad Potts set to appear in a “bounce game“ while coming back from injuries.
Heckingbottom will be keen to see additions in January, with more goal threats prioritized. Loan deals are likely due to budget constraints, and there are smart deals to be had as North End target players that can help them maintain their promotional push.
