Last Saturday we were invited for a 50th birthday party in Åkersberga, just outside Stockholm. First we thought: should we take the train home late in the evening, or find a place to spend the night? The next moment we noticed: of course we take the camper with us. The camper is complete perfect To take with you when you go to a party!
Ready for a party!
The same evening we were invited to a party, Storm was promised in Sweden. In a sense it was a perfect opportunity to leave the houseboat. Although it is safe when it storms, it can sometimes be uncomfortable if the wind is too hard. However, we have ensured that we have checked all the knots and have attached some. You want the boat to be moored well!

Then we waved to the Fest Tass and grabbed some small things in the camper: supplies, drinks, breakfast food, the Day after clothing. We have almost After our long journey through Europe the camper unpacked, but we still have bedding and towels. In other words: the camper is quickly ready for a small turn!

State site in Åkersberga
The party would take place in the center of Åkersberga, so where would we spend the night with the camper? We did exactly as we do when we are abroad: we used the Park4night app. There appeared to be a very nice parking space on the canal, with four large parking spaces specially intended for campers.

The only available service are garbage cans. On the other hand, you have a nice view of the boats in the canal and it is completely free to spend the night here. We must say a very excellent place. Thank you Åkersberga for this!

50-year party at The Public
Our girlfriend Anna, who turned 50, had chosen to celebrate the party in Pub the Public in Åkersberga. So the pub was open to all visitors, but we had our own corner for the company. A nice place and a nice way to arrange a party!
I didn’t get that much from the party itself, because I simply wanted to concentrate on socializing. Sometimes it is also nice not to worry about the question to people if they want to be photographed, whether you can publish the photos, etc.
At least I took pictures of our food! I (Helena) ordered a salad with Chevre on sourdough bread and Peter ordered mussels. We were both very satisfied. Sooo good!

Morning in the camper … with a shrimp sandwich!
What is nice if you take the camper to the party is that you can stay long in the evening, without worrying about when the trains or buses go. Now it was not that we stayed so late, because we were both a little hungry and I got a starting headache. It was at least one terribly Have a nice evening!
The following morning we had exchanged eggs, mayonnaise and shrimp so that we could start the morning with a shrimp sandwich. Luxury!
It is probably very nice to have a camper! It is not only useful for the exciting long journeys, it is also practical in many other contexts. Simply perfect to take the camper to the party!
