Mazur also said that when he brought his body back to full health at the beginning of last season, head coach Dan Watson, head coach of Grand Rapids, as a leading, positive presence.

“Last year, especially when I was injured, he was the one who would always come and talk to me,” said Mazur about Watson. “Because I couldn’t be there, I didn’t really have anything to talk about hockey, but he always made sure that he took it away from hockey and goes to personal life. That really helps around the ice rink, it gets away from that and when it’s really time to enclose, he is really chosen in everything. He is an incredible man and coach to play for.”

With a new campaign that is approaching quickly, Mazur said that his goal is to continue where he had left. He is particularly enthusiastic about Detroit’s training camp to start this fall and plans to bring his best foot forward to try to secure a place in the opening night schedule.

‘After being [with the Red Wings]It makes it even clearer how much I need to be better, “said Mazur.” I have to push myself and I want to help them return to the play -offs. I know I can come to that level. I have the ability, so it’s just to stay healthy. I have experienced many injuries and I have the feeling that I have come back from everyone better and stronger. I can’t really view this differently. “
