We have an update for you on the Arc Pulse situation for the Pixel 10 series. This is available now. For those who like this weird two-piece suitcase thingy and you’re not tired of me talking about how much I love them, the time has come for you to get one.
The Arc Pulse for the Pixel 10 series is available in two models, one for the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, along with another larger version for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold won’t get one. We also have two colors to choose from, matte black or silver. Arc sent me a sample copy in silver which you can see pictured here on a Pixel 10 Pro in Moonstone. It’s certainly a nice combination.
As for the price, the matte black model costs $69.99 and the silver version costs $89.99. The prices are also the same between the device versions.

Why on earth would anyone buy this thing for that much money? See, before these launched last year with the Pixel 9 series, I was a skeptic. I thought the price was ridiculous and that they couldn’t possibly give you real protection. But since they showed up on the Pixel 9 series, I’ve put them on every device possible.
Because they are in two parts, they provide corner protection (arguably the most important), camera bar protection, and lift your phone’s screen out of the services when you place your phone face down. Inside the metal pieces is a rubber or soft plastic layer that can absorb the impact of a fall. I’ve dropped my phones a few times with just this one on them, and they survived and showed no signs of damage. And because the Arc Pulse is made of aerospace-grade aluminum, it was also largely unscathed.
What I like most about these designs is that you can feel the actual hardware that Google, Samsung or Apple gives you, and yet you know there is protection from everyday drops and surfaces. Again, I understand they are expensive, but if you plan on keeping your phone for a few years, want a little extra spice to the design, and still want to feel the device, I think you might like these.

As you can see, I also bought one for the new iPhone, so I wasn’t lying when I said I’d put them on as many devices as possible. These won’t apply to everyone, but I feel like sharing my experiences should help if anyone has been on the fence.
All versions of the Arc Pulse for the Pixel 10 series are available now. Oh, on their site you can also choose your Pixel 10 color and then try out the black and silver versions to see what looks best.
