Donald Trump has the ABC’s Global Affairs editor John Lyons admonishes and says that he “hurts Australia” with his line of questions.

Donald Trump has the ABC’s Global Affairs Editor John Lyons during a bizarre exchange on the Witte House Law.

Lyons, established in Washington, asked the US president various questions about his business transactions, including: “Is it appropriate, President Trump, that a president should have so many business activities in office?”

“Well, I really am not. My children run the company. Do you know what the activity – where do you come from?” Trump replied.

“I come from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Four corners Program, “Lyons said.

“Oh, the Australian – you hurt Australia,” Trump told him.

“In my opinion you are in a very pain and they want to get along with me.

“You know, your leader will quickly come to me. I’m going to tell him about you. You have set a very bad tone.”

When Lyons tried to ask a follow -up question, Mr. Trump told him, “calm.”

Lyons Questions were part of a study by Four corners Program in Trump’s business activities since his return to the presidency.

ABC news director Justin Stevens said that Lyons had the full support of the broadcaster.

“John Lyons is a very award -winning journalist and one of the most experienced and respected reporters in Australia,” said Stevens.

“His job is to ask questions.”
