The Dodgers of Los Angeles have recently stuck in a rut of inconsistency and from the beginning of July look a nine-game NL West lead from evaporation (and eventually recovered). But in just 1.5 games about the Padres just over two months later, some promising names come back from the injured list.
Infieler Hyesong Kim was a Korea baseball organization striking that had tons of potential to contribute to the team, but had a very real opportunity to be stored in Triple-A for the entire 2025 in Triple-A.
After a solid show in the minors and battle .304 about his first 58 games in a Dodgers uniform, it was clear that Kim was here to stay.

Unfortunately, the 26-year-old is slightly more than the month with shoulder forestitis, but after MLB schedules were extended to 28 players on Monday, Kim was activated.
After he claimed that he is ‘100 percent healthy’, he spoke about some of the changes he made in his swing to hopefully help his shoulder forward.
“I didn’t necessarily think my swing was so different. But because of our R&D team and their analysis it was quite clear that my swing was different than early in the season,” said Kim.
However, the Swing was not the reason that Kim’s shoulder made sure he missed the time, because a wandering slide caused things that seeking in his attacking production.
“Initially it was clear to slide the cause of the injury in the second base, but as it got worse, the pain got worse and it started to influence my swing,” he said.
Getting his swing correctly was something that was of the utmost importance when starting his MLB career – especially given the speed difference from KBO to MLB – and Kim noted that he used one of the same sentiment during his recovery process.
“Because of the rehabilitation competitions, I was able to go back to where I worked during spring training and earlier in the season,” he said. “During the rehabilitation process I continued to practice the same routine, but I just worked on the same things again and tried to perfect my swing. I felt much better lately.”
