• Make sure you listen to podcasts for at least 2 hours (only if you qualify for Recap)
• Keep watch history ON during the recap period
• Make sure auto-delete is OFF (or not deleted after 3 months)
• Don’t listen primarily to content made for children
• Don’t use programs migrated by Google Podcasts
• Don’t use podcasts added via an RSS feed
• Make sure you have the YouTube app (Android 18.43+) or YouTube Music app (Android 8.47+)

How to Fix YouTube Recap 2025 Not Showing Up

To avoid YouTube 2025 Recap not showing up, here’s what you need to do Update YouTube to the latest version.

If your Android or iOS version is outdated, you need to update your device.

Solution 1: Update YouTube

1. Open the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Search for “YouTube/YouTube Music” and open it.
3. Select “Update” to update the app.
4. Open the YouTube app and log in.
5. Select ‘You’ from the bottom navigation bar.
