How to buy: the new kitchen collection from Porsche x SMEG

The kitchen has become a lot cooler.

There’s something fun about seeing two worlds collide, especially when they share the same obsession with design. Porsche and Smeg have joined forces to launch a limited-edition collection that brings some motorsport energy into the kitchen. It’s called Porsche x Smeg: driven by passion, refined by designand it feels less like a flashy collaboration and more like two design-focused brands having a thoughtful conversation about craft, heritage and how great design fits into everyday life.

The range includes everything from a fridge and bean-to-cup coffee maker to a kettle, toaster and blender. But it’s the details that make this collection stand out. Each piece feels like a Porsche, clean, confident and purposefully built, while still retaining Smeg and its mid-century personality. “At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared philosophy: creating objects that are not only functional, but also emotionally resonant,” says Stefan Büscher, CEO of Porsche Lifestyle Group.

A SMEG blender sits on a dark countertop next to a Porsche 911 book, suggesting a sleek collaboration, with a treadmill, refrigerator and fitness equipment visible in the background.
A sideboard with a red SMEG coffee maker, a model racing car in a display case, glassware and a wall photo of a Porsche racing car with number 23.

The highlight is a limited run, inspired by one of Porsche’s most important moments in motorsport history: the victory at Le Mans in 1970 with the 917 KH in Salzburg Red. Both the refrigerator and the coffee maker have the same color scheme, finished with #23 and white stripes. Only 1,970 will be made, a nod to the year in which Porsche achieved its first overall victory at Le Mans.

In addition to the Salzburg editions, Porsche and Smeg also created two other finishes, Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic, both drawn from Porsche’s extensive color palette. The refrigerator, toaster, kettle and blender all have subtle Porsche touches, including matte black handles, minimalist accents and clean lines that reflect the shape and feel of a 911. Even the little things like custom numbered buttons and temperature gauges add that extra bit of detail without overdoing it.

The most attractive thing about the Porsche x Smeg collection is that there is no pretentiousness or overbranding here, just two companies that care deeply about the way things are made. Whether you pour your first cup of coffee or take a drink from the refrigerator, you feel a piece of Porsche’s design DNA.
